What kind of sweeteners do you use?
- We use only pure cane sugar for our Classic and All Natural product
lines. Our Sugar Free syrups are 100% sweetened exclusively with
SPLENDAŽ Brand Sweetener.
What is the difference between cane and beet sugar?
- Because beets are grown in the ground, the sugar derived has a
higher mineral content, and can result in impurities in the finished
product. Cane sugar, which is a grass and is grown above ground, is
therefore purer and is also refined differently. The high grade of cane
sugar used by Da Vinci Gourmet imparts a purer taste and smell to our
crafted infusions.
What is SPLENDA?
- SPLENDA is the brand name for Sucralose, a no-calorie
sweetener made from real sugar. Sucralose has no effect on blood
sugar or blood insulin levels because the body does not recognize it as
a sugar or source of carbohydrates. After a great deal of
research and development, we chose SPLENDA because it is a
superior sugar alternative. It is unique for its taste, safety and
stability in a variety of applications. To learn more about
